Join us in celebrating Pride Month at Stephen Wise Temple. The Reform Movement has long been committed to achieving full equity for our LGBTQ+ community in our country as well as advocating for rights throughout the world, and we are proud to be an ally and a partner in that mission.
On June 24, we will hold our Pride Shabbat. As part of our normal 6:15 p.m. Shabbat Evening Services, we will have the chance to hear from one of the first same-sex couples to be married by a Wise clergyperson when gay and lesbian marriage was legalized across the nation.
To celebrate and honor Pride Month, Stephen Wise Temple members Sabrina and Jessica will share the story that led to their decision to marry as well as the powerful impact of their own Jewish community recognizing their marriage.
