Jewish Education & Engagement: Grades TK-6

Our diverse range of educational offerings allows children to focus on their families’ priorities while learning at their own pace and schedule. For children in Grades K-2, we invite you to choose any one or combination of our offerings to tailor your child’s Jewish learning experience. In Grades 3-6, we ask parents to enroll their child in at least (1) Judaic Studies course and (1) T’filah Studies course in order to help prepare your child to participate in community while also learning how to participate and lead others in worship.

Give your child the precious gift of Jewish education at Wise today! For all families, Temple membership is required. Enrollment requires a ShulCloud account made available to all members. Contact Rabbi Josh and our CYE team today to get your account or to answer any questions you may have!

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How do I sign my child(ren) up for Religious School? As you can see above, we have a variety of programs designed to meet you and your child where you’re at.
  2. Can I sign up for more than one program? Absolutely. You may combine any number of programs to create the best experience for your family and your child(ren).
  3. I want my child to prepare for Bar or Bat Mitzvah. How should I do that? Any of our programs in Grades K-2 count as a year of religious study. Beginning in Grade 3, we ask parents to select both a Jewish Studies and a T’filah Studies course for their child(ren) to help them prepare for their roles as prayer leaders, teachers of Torah, and community leaders — roles affirmed as part of becoming B’nai Mitzvah.
  4. Why don’t we just have Sunday School like everyone else? At Wise, we believe that all children and all families are different and require a different approach to Jewish study, one that addresses their interests, as well as their schedules. Our offerings are designed to give parents the opportunity to craft the most meaningful and appropriate experiences for their families and their child(ren).
  5. What option do you think is best for my child(ren)? We’re proud of all our programs, and we heartily recommend that you reach out to us in order to discuss the best options for your family and your child(ren).
  6. Can my PK/TK student participate? Absolutely! Our Camp Wise Sundays and Family Learning Experience programs are a great way to introduce your child to Jewish learning in the PK/TK year.
