8:00 p.m. | 2nd or 3rd Friday of each month (unless otherwise noted)

Our unique musical service is one of Wise’s most popular traditions. Join our clergy and our Soulful Shabbat musicians and singers for a spiritual evening featuring the rhythms and melodies our members have come to love. From celebrations of bluegrass and Americana to Sephardic-inspired music and everything in between, Soulful Shabbat is worship experience unlike any other in Los Angeles.

Our weekly Friday evening service is a one-hour celebration of music and spirit with our Rabbis, Cantors, and live music to help create a special break from the week. Services are preceded by a Kabbalat Shabbat Nosh. Childcare is available.

Gather together with our community for a festive service and dinner with kid-friendly entertainment! Our clergy and guest performers lead our music- and story-filled service that introduces the youngest members of our community to the joy of Shabbat. Parents and grandparents will love it too!

Recommended for kids up to age 5.

Join voices with students from Wise School and Wise’s Center for Youth Engagement to welcome Shabbat with grace and meaning. This all-ages service features our beloved Soulful Shabbat music and a story from our clergy to engage and enlighten the entire family!
