The Religious School is a link in the long chain of excellence in Stephen S. Wise Temple Schools. By the time students are confirmed in Grade 10, they are knowledgeable Jews who are comfortable with their Jewish identity. The School helps them to develop an inner spiritual life that is connected to the Temple community and the global Jewish community. Students are taught Jewish practice, history, belief, love for Israel and the Jewish people, and an understanding of their obligation to make the world a better place.

The curriculum is designed to prepare students for a lifetime of Jewish learning. They are introduced to Torah, Israel, holidays, Jewish ethics, and history. The program is further enriched by involvement in Hebrew study, music,T'fillah (prayer services), and family participatory programs.
