Fostering a Love of Learning

The mission of  The Diener and Kadner Families Library at Stephen S. Wise Temple Elementary School is to foster a love of reading and learning.  We provide students, staff, and Temple members with a broad range of secular and religious books, current magazines, access to the Internet, an online catalogue, and help with research questions. The library maintains an extensive Judaic and general collection resources, that is continuously updated and expanded. 

The library program introduces children to quality literature to promote appreciation for books and to motivate enthusiasm for reading. Listening, and research activities are designed to develop critical thinking, enhance reading for understanding, introduce library technology, and reinforce research skills.
