In the Jewish tradition, the word hesed means giving of oneself to help others.The school-wide Hesed Program is dedicated to teaching our students their obligation to tikkun olam (repairing the world) by participating in service learning opportunities. At each grade level, children forge a relationship with a specific institution. They learn about their services and programs, engage in service activities, and make contributions to the organization. Students respond to crises as they arise throughout the world.
