The Parenting Center offers a weekly Baby & Me program for children from four months through two years old. Here babies and their parents join with teachers and facilitators in activities designed to stimulate and enrich these very youngest learners. 

Upon arrival, children and parents are greeted with an array of activities designed to promote interactive play with each other. Indoor and outdoor experiences enhance the development and coordination of large and small muscles. There are many opportunities for exploration and discovery including manipulatives, floor games, creative expression, music, as well as books to peruse. After a mid-morning snack with their children, parents join a discussion group led by professional facilitators about topics pertinent to young families. While the parents are engaged, their children are supervised nearby as they play and explore. The morning comes to an end with storytelling, a puppet show, or a musical experience.

These weekly classes meet for an entire semester. They are approximately one and a half  to two hours long. Class size is kept small to ensure a quality experience for all.
