Our program sets the stage for a child’s life-long learning and we are happy you are part of this wondrous journey. The Early Childhood Center at Stephen S. Wise Temple has long been a leader in early childhood education; our philosophy ensures a child-centered, age-appropriate, well supervised, and safe environment for your child to grow and create new friendships. As part of this community, these early years will establish who your child is as a learner. Our unique program offers your family the opportunity to begin with our Baby & Me classes and continue throughout all our education programs, culminating in graduation from Milken Community High School of Stephen S. Wise Temple. We know that years from now, your child will leave here with strong Jewish values, a broad and outstanding academic education, and bonds of friendship that were established in his or her days at the Early Childhood Center.  

Our program grows with your child. We are committed to providing well-trained professionals who will love and care for your child every day. As always, your participation is a key component to our success. We look forward to a partnership that extends well beyond the Early Childhood Center’s classrooms, into the Temple and the many activities offered there, and also into your homes.    

Some of our goals for this year include increasing your child’s emotional literacy vocabulary, increasing the amount of time your child spends in outside play, and using a new curriculum, Zoo-Phonics, in our Pre-K program to build a strong foundation for reading and writing. We hope these goals will inspire more exercise, create strong problem solvers, and set the tone for an exciting year filled with learning adventures for your child.
