Lisa Steenport 
Physical Education and Athletics Grades 8-12 

Lisa Steenport received her Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Ambassador College, and her Master’s degree in Physical Education from California State University, Los Angeles. She has been at Milken Community High School since 1996 and divides her time teaching Physical Education in both the Middle and Upper schools. Ms. Steenport is the head girls’ Varsity Volleyball coach at the Upper School and program director for the Middle School volleyball program. She also serves as a ninth grade advisee. Ms. Steenport’s greatest joy as a teacher is helping students improve and master skills. Ms. Steenport’s interest outside of teaching include camping, traveling, playing golf and coaching club volleyball. She is originally from Wisconsin and currently resides in Pasadena.
