Venue Information

Stephen Wise Temple Campus

  • Parking: Available on the Temple campus on a first-come, first-served basis. Once our campus is full, overflow parking will be directed to American Jewish University (AJU), Casiano Road, and/or Mulholland Drive. Parking restrictions will not be lifted on Casiano Road, so please observe all posted signs. Shuttles will run to and from the Wise campus throughout the day.
  • Comfort Room: Enjoy a quiet space for you and your infant or toddler who may need a little break from services (which will be streamed on our big screen). Located in the hallway between Westwood Sanctuary and Plotkin Chapel.
  • Plotkin Patio: Our casual outdoor lounge with plenty of shade, perfect for catching up with old friends. Located just outside Plotkin Chapel.
  • Family Offerings: Child care and Days of Awesome (new enhanced programming) are available on our campus.

Bel Air Church

  • Parking: Available on-site at the Church’s lower lot with overflow parking available across the street with shuttles going to and from the Church’s main entrance. Accessible parking and passenger drop-off are available at the Church’s upper lot only with valid decal.
  • Comfort Area: Enjoy a comfortable area just behind the sanctuary where you and your infant or toddler can relax while still hearing services clearly.
  • Family Offerings: Child care is available.

Skirball Cultural Center

  • Parking: On-site. Accessible parking with valid decal available.

All Venues

  • Rideshare: Drop-off and pick-up spots located at all venues. Security and our signage will direct you.
  • Each location has a specific allotment of accessible parking. If you require these spots, your car must have a legally issued accessible/handicapped placard. We encourage you to arrive at least 30 minutes early to secure a spot closest to your venue entrance.
  • Lost and Found: All items recovered will be brought to the main Wise campus (NO items will be left at Skirball Center or Bel Air Church).
  • We encourage carpooling whenever possible to make parking easier on everyone, and be environmentally friendly. We appreciate your help and consideration by allowing enough time before the service to park and make your way inside your venue, cooperating with the security guards and venue personnel, and using only one space per vehicle. Members will be admitted to parking lots with a Wise decal (mailed by August 15 to renewed members); non-members will be asked to show their tickets and proper identification.

Yizkor Book of Remembrance

Our Book of Remembrance is a time-honored and meaningful way for members of the Wise community to remember departed loved ones during this year’s High Holy Days and throughout the year.

The words of the traditional Yizkor prayer include a pledge to give tzedakah in their memory. For the Jewish People, charitable giving is a way to make memory tangible in the world. We encourage you to make a contribution of $36 per name. This important donation allows us to create a printed version of the book. You will be able to enter your contribution amount below.

Submissions will be open until September 13, 2019:
After that date, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that your submission will appear in the Book of Remembrance.

Please contact Rachel Goldberg during office hours at 310.889.2243 if you have any questions about your submission.
