Tashlich at Stephen Wise Temple is a beloved tradition, and this year, we’re bringing it back on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022 for our 5783 High Holy Days. ALL AGES ARE WELCOME!

Sunday, October 2
3 p.m. |
Tower 24 – Santa Monica Beach

Pack your bread, your blanket, and your picnic basket as Wise heads to the beach for Tashlich, the symbolic casting of our sins into the ocean in preparation for Yom Kippur. Gather in community to reflect, hear the sounds of the shofar, and say goodbye to the mistakes of last year. This beautifully symbolic ritual is a cherished tradition for all ages! Come for the Tashlich, stay for a picnic!

How to get there: Meet us at Lifeguard Tower 24, south of the Santa Monica Pier. We recommend parking in the Crescent Bay Park parking lot.
